About the role
Unified Talent Group is partnered with a growing organization in the Dayton OH area seeking a proactive and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to develop new business, grow existing customer accounts, and provide a high level of customer support. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with experience managing customer relationships, building a qualified pipeline, and consistently achieving revenue and profitability goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new customers, territories, and business opportunities through strategic prospecting and account planning Manage and expand existing customer accounts while identifying additional revenue opportunities Research declining or lost business and develop strategies to recover high-potential accounts Create business plans that support customer acquisition, account growth, and sales objectives Maintain an accurate and active opportunity pipeline within the company CRMTrack orders, backlog, and customer activity through CRM and ERP systems Prepare accurate sales, order, and revenue forecasts Develop quotes, manage application assessments, and improve quote conversion Maximize profitability through effective pricing, quoting, and margin management Communicate regularly with customers and document sales activity, meetings, and follow-up actions Partner with Operations to support customer requirements, inventory planning, and order fulfillment Research and recommend new solutions based on customer and market needs Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and customer outreach activities Manage sales activity and business expenses within established budgets Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organizationSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of three years of business development or sales experience Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and generating new business Degree in Business, Marketing, a technical discipline, or a related field preferred Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales profitability Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and numerical skills Strong customer relationship, organization, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with CRM, ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other business systems Ability to interpret customer requirements and provide effective solutions Creative, innovative, and comfortable identifying new approaches to business development Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONSConsistent pipeline and new customer growth Achievement of revenue and gross-margin targets Strong quote conversion and forecasting accuracy High levels of customer satisfaction and account retention Accurate and timely CRM and sales activity managementWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Opportunity to develop new business and manage important customer relationships Performance-focused sales environment with measurable growth opportunities Collaborative organization undergoing continued growth and transformation
