About the role
To elevate the visual quality of animated productions, the full-time 3D Lighting Supervisor will define and maintain the lighting style while supervising the lighting team, collaborating closely with various departments in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Establish and maintain the overall lighting style, tone, and visual quality of projects
Lead, mentor, and support a team of lighting artists, ensuring stylistic cohesion through collaboration
Review and approve lighting assignments, ensuring adherence to visual language and technical standards
Required qualifications:
Proven experience as a 3D Lighting Supervisor, Lead, or Senior Lighting Artist
Strong understanding of lighting, colour, composition, and visual storytelling
Experience leading and mentoring lighting teams with a focus on creative feedback
Strong expertise in Unreal Engine lighting and real-time rendering
Ability to balance creative quality with technical requirements and production deadlines
