Job Description: VISUAL DESIGNER
Responsibilities: Create and adapt visual assets for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including reports, data-driven infographics, web, social, and paid media. Take assignments from creative brief through final production, translating business objectives and content into clear, compelling design. Support active projects already in development, working within established creative direction, templates, timelines, and approval processes. Partner closely with marketing, content, digital, and other creative team members to understand requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver work on schedule. Apply brand standards consistently across all deliverables while maintaining strong typography, layout, hierarchy, imagery, and visual storytelling. Prepare production-ready files and create versions or resizes for different audiences, regions, channels, and formats. Incorporate stakeholder, editorial, and compliance feedback accurately and efficiently, maintaining version control through final approval. Conduct quality-control checks for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and technical specifications before files are released. Organize working files, linked assets, fonts, and final deliverables so projects can be easily accessed and transitioned across the team. Provide support for motion graphics, video editing, or multimedia assets when needed and aligned with experience.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3+ years of professional design experience in an in-house creative team, agency, or similarly deadline-driven environment. Candidates with experience working for financial services or asset management companies preferred. Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design across long-form content and digital marketing assets. Candidates with evidence of designing data-driven infographics preferred.
Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop—and Microsoft Power Point Strong command of typography, layout, information hierarchy, image selection, and visual storytelling. Experience using generative AI tools and effective prompting to create original, brand-appropriate imagery and visual concepts. Experience designing long-form reports, charts, infographics, and campaign assets within an established brand system. Ability to interpret creative briefs, ask focused questions, and convert feedback into accurate revisions. Heightened attention to detail, file organization, version control, and production discipline. Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly about status, dependencies, and risks. Collaborative, flexible working style, and comfort partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications: Experience supporting financial services, asset management, or another highly regulated industry. Familiarity with accessibility considerations for digital and document design. Experience with motion graphics and video editing in Premiere Pro. Experience adapting global creative across regions, audiences, and channels. Comfort working within established project-management, review and approval workflows.
