About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Presentation Designer / Visual Communications Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will act as a visual storyteller—translating complex data, information, and ideas into clean, engaging, and professional Power Point presentations for internal and external audiences. Beyond Power Point, you will also apply your design expertise to digital collaboration platforms, specifically enhancing the design and user experience of Share Point Online sites. If you have an eye for layout, an obsession with typography and visual hierarchy, and a knack for turning rough notes into polished slide decks, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Design Excellence: Design high-quality, professional Power Point presentations for diverse internal and external audiences. Visual Storytelling: Transform complex information, data, and ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives using custom layouts, charts, diagrams, infographics, and timelines. Brand & Platform Consistency: Apply brand guidelines consistently across presentations and extend your design expertise to Share Point Online sites and other digital platforms. Collaboration: Partner closely with HR, communications, leadership, and cross-functional teams to understand project goals and audience needs. Content Optimization: Improve existing presentations by refining content hierarchy, visual flow, and overall design. Template Management: Create and maintain standardized Power Point templates, slide libraries, and presentation guidelines. Best Practices: Provide design guidance and coaching to colleagues contributing to presentations and digital platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
3+ years of professional experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communications, or a closely related field. Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and familiarity with tools like MS Word/Excel and Share Point Online. Design Acumen: Strong understanding of visual communication principles, typography, layout, color theory, and information hierarchy. Data Visualization: Demonstrated ability to simplify complex data through compelling charts, infographics, and diagrams. Project Management: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Portfolio Requirement: A robust portfolio demonstrating strong presentation design, visual storytelling, and examples of digital platform or Share Point Online contributions (Portfolio required for consideration)including examples of digital platform design or Share Point Online contributions.].
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in corporate, HR, communications, consulting, or professional-services environments. Experience developing branded presentation templates and comprehensive design systems.
