About the Role: Mike World Wide is seeking an experienced Creative Director, Art for up to approximately 4-5 months of maternity leave coverage. You’ll step in as the senior creative lead for one of the agency’s largest client relationships, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of 5–6 creatives and partnering closely with Account, Strategy, and agency leadership. We’re looking for a seasoned art and design leader who can quickly immerse themselves in an established brand and lead integrated creative across channels. This is a hands-on leadership role, so you should be equally comfortable setting creative direction, presenting to clients, and jumping into Figma to review, refine, or develop work when needed. While we are primarily an earned-first agency, this role requires significant experience developing integrated brand campaigns and marketing creative, along with an understanding of how earned media can amplify ideas.
Location: Remote. Candidates must be available to work East Coast hours.
What You’ll Do: Serve as the senior creative lead for a major agency account, owning the quality, consistency, and strategic direction of the creative work. Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary team of approximately 5–6 creatives, including Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and other creative talent. Partner with Account and Strategy leadership to translate client objectives and brand strategy into compelling integrated creative across digital, social, video, experiential, earned, and other channels. Serve as a senior creative partner to the client and internal stakeholders as needed, leading presentations and creative reviews, providing counsel, and navigating feedback while maintaining the strategic and creative integrity of the work. Remain hands-on, using Figma to review, refine, and contribute to concepts, mockups, presentations, storyboards, and campaign creative.
Requirements: 10+ years of creative experience, including significant agency experience and time at the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or equivalent level. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and serving as the creative lead for major client accounts or brands. Exceptional portfolio demonstrating art direction, integrated campaigns, brand development, and conceptual thinking. Strong client-facing presentation and creative counsel skills. Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Sora, Krea, Runway, or similar.$100/hr at 30hrs/week for at least 12 weeks Must work East Coast hours
