About the role

Front Desk ReceptionistNCMMIS is in search of 1 FTE. Position is 8 - 5pm, 1 hr. lunch. Selection based upon candidate's ability to meet Basic Qualifications at the best value. Rate will need to be established on the agreement prior to starting of approved candidate. Temporary Position.
Core Responsibilities: Not Limited To: One or more years of Data Entry experience Handle front desk visitor requirements & other requests. This includes greeting, contacting staff for the visitor, and processing visitor sign-in and badging Handle personnel badging requirements (photos/forms/database input/file management/communications)Process new hires/off-boards/conversions (various data entry/record keeping tasks, email group updates, spreadsheet/database updates)Handle conference room reservation requests Monitor several group email boxes for activities process and handle issues, escalate as necessary Receive facilities service requests, record and communicate various maintenance tasks for approval and contact appropriate vendors to schedule maintenance Maintain supply room and toner room organization Self-audit and reconcile regularly listings we use regularly; i.e. Contact List, Employee Badge Access List, Printer IP Address Lists, Contact List, etc. Maintain documentation relating to job duties Other general office duties as assigned Handle other special projects as assigned Top 3 Skills Required to Be Successful in Role: Standard skill set in MS-Outlook & Word Basic skills in Excel and Power Point Attention to detail; accuracy in information/data handling Follow policies relating to personnel and physical security duties
Secondary Skills: Friendly, courteous disposition; works well in a customer-facing role Work well in a multidisciplinary team environment Able to handle multiple small assignments concurrently
Work environment: Office environment Place of performance- 2610 Wycliff Rd., Raleigh NC. Period of performance- Start date and through 06/30/2018 with possible extension.
