About the Role:
This opportunity is for a Head of Marketing to build a predictable marketing‐sourced pipeline engine across messaging, customer proof, lifecycle marketing, sales enablement, events, content, and demand generation. The role owns a pipeline number and is responsible for turning successful founder‐led webinars, partner channels, referrals, customer stories, and existing audiences into scalable, measurable marketing programs. This is a hands‐on B2B SaaS marketing role requiring direct experience with Hub Spot lifecycle stages, campaigns, and attribution; case study development; webinar and event‐to‐pipeline programs; and team or agency management. The position works closely with Sales and uses AI for research, repurposing, operations, and execution while maintaining a human voice in customer‐facing content.
What You'll Do:
Messaging & Positioning Codify existing positioning and messaging by extracting insights from founder webinars, demos, and the language customers use in case studies. Create a single messaging source of truth covering positioning, product one‐liners, proof points, and phrases that should not be used. Ensure future marketing assets and campaigns consistently draw from the established messaging framework. Develop a strong working knowledge of six products, three main competitors, and key customer stories during the initial ramp period. Customer Proof & Sales Enablement Build and expand a case study library by identifying stories in webinar and call recordings, interviewing customers, drafting case studies, and securing customer approvals. Turn customer stories into reusable assets including web pages, PDFs, one‐pagers, and clips from existing recordings. Create sales enablement assets including competitive battlecards, ROI calculators, and product‐specific one‐pagers based on technical documentation. Build partner enablement kits for ATS representatives who recommend the products during their own demos. Develop a proof library that ultimately covers every product and vertical. Lifecycle Marketing, Retargeting & Hub Spot Build lifecycle marketing programs for existing customers, including cross‐sell campaigns that introduce customers to additional products. Create sequences for prospects who completed a demo but did not close, closed‐lost opportunities, and other existing audiences. Develop new‐product announcement programs for the customer base and inactive pipeline. Build retargeting programs for warm website traffic. Own the marketing side of Hub Spot, including lifecycle stages, campaign tracking, and attribution. Work with Sales Operations and Web Operations resources to establish attribution from first website visit through demo and closed business. Build reporting that identifies which marketing motions sourced pipeline and revenue. Webinars, Trade Shows & High‐Touch Events Own the marketing operation surrounding founder‐led webinars, including promotion, registration, partner co‐promotion, follow‐up sequences, and post‐event content extraction. Turn webinar recordings into case studies, clips, and campaigns within two weeks of each event. Own the trade show process end to end, including pre‐show meeting booking, booth execution, collateral, and post‐show sequences. Run high‐touch marketing programs including customer dinners, gifts, and executive touches designed to support enterprise opportunities. Build repeatable event processes that can operate without direct CEO coordination. Content & Growth Marketing Own editorial strategy from day one and establish content priorities based on the messaging framework. Determine the appropriate content production model and hire or manage a writer or agency to execute against established priorities. Use existing case studies, webinar recordings, and competitive insights as inputs for ongoing content production. Test paid acquisition on Linked In and search once the supporting proof library is established. Optimize website conversion performance page by page. Develop and improve review‐site presence. Implement AI search optimization initiatives. Create comparison pages focused on the tools the products replace. Use AI to accelerate research, content repurposing, marketing operations, and repetitive execution while preserving a human voice in external messaging. Performance & Pipeline Ownership Own marketing as a measurable pipeline channel rather than optimizing primarily for impressions. Build repeatable systems around marketing motions that already generate demand and convert them into scalable programs. Track marketing performance against pipeline contribution and revenue outcomes. Personally execute foundational marketing work until programs demonstrate enough value to justify additional headcount. Build toward a predictable marketing pipeline with clear ownership and measurable results.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
At least 4 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with direct ownership of a pipeline number. Experience building and operating pipeline‐focused marketing programs rather than measuring success primarily through impressions. Demonstrated experience developing named customer case studies and personally managing the customer approval process. Hands‐on experience running webinar or event‐to‐pipeline programs with measurable performance outcomes. Experience managing at least one employee or agency and improving the quality of the work produced.
Required Skills:
Hands‐on Hub Spot expertise, including lifecycle stages, campaigns, and marketing attribution rather than email execution alone. Ability to build lifecycle marketing, retargeting, cross‐sell, and pipeline re‐engagement programs. Strong product messaging and positioning skills, including the ability to synthesize customer language, product proof points, and founder knowledge into a consistent messaging framework. Ability to create customer case studies, sales enablement materials, competitive battlecards, ROI calculators, product one‐pagers, and partner enablement assets. Ability to manage webinar promotion, registration, follow‐up, content repurposing, trade shows, and other event‐to‐pipeline programs. Strong content marketing and editorial judgment with the ability to write clear, high‐quality first drafts quickly. Ability to work directly with customers to gather stories, conduct interviews, and secure approvals for public case studies. Strong understanding of marketing‐sourced pipeline, attribution, conversion, and revenue‐oriented performance measurement. Ability to operate as a player‐coach who can build marketing systems and execute the work directly before expanding headcount. Ability to work closely with Sales and apply sales‐oriented instincts to marketing execution. Ability to use AI effectively for research, repurposing, operations, and repetitive marketing work without using it as a substitute for authentic brand voice.
Preferred Qualifications:
B2B SaaS marketing experience at a vertical SaaS company selling to SMB owners and operators. Previous Sales or SDR experience. Proximity to Los Angeles, New York, or Miami is a plus because regular in‐person working sessions, customer dinners, and trade shows with the CEO are valuable to the role.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
