About the role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to support a remote Contract engagement. This role focuses on strengthening device management and compliance operations while helping ensure policies are effectively defined, validated, and enforced across the environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background in data and systems engineering, along with hands-on experience working with modern platforms and compliance-focused workflows.
Responsibilities:
Assess existing device management policies to determine effectiveness, identify gaps, and document areas requiring remediation. Convert validated policy frameworks into Intune configurations and help align enforcement rules with operational needs. Contribute to the migration of approximately 300 devices from Jamf into Intune while maintaining stability and user readiness. Support FIDO2 compliance initiatives and help implement device compliance standards across managed endpoints. Monitor policy behavior after deployment, troubleshoot issues, and refine configurations to improve consistency and control. Partner with technical stakeholders to translate business and security requirements into practical management policies. Use scripting and data engineering tools to analyze operational data, automate repeatable tasks, and improve reporting visibility.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
