We are highly mission-driven and have reconnected, transformed and empowered tens of thousands of lives to dateTHE ROLEWe are looking for a B2B Head of Sales to join our vibrant team as a player-coach – someone who leads and builds our B2B sales team while also personally carrying and closing a book of strategic accounts. This candidate will drive our partnership and sales strategy across managed care organizations, insurers, employers, unions and other entities that serve the 50+ population, with a focus on growing Audicus's presence in the hearing benefit space. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who wants to build and coach a high-performing team, while staying close to the business by personally carrying and closing deals. Analytical problem-solvers that can think strategically, build relationships and succeed in closing deals themselves - while also coaching others to do the same and owning the new-business P&L for this division – will particularly enjoy this role. The candidate will report directly to the President & Chief Revenue Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and build our hyper-driven B2B sales team, consisting of partnership and sales professionals, setting the example through direct deal execution. Personally own and close a pipeline of strategic accounts across managed care organizations, insurers, employers and unions. Devise and execute a winning sales and partnership strategy for the +50 population and the hearing benefit space. Own pipeline management and forecasting for the B2B sales team, ensuring accurate visibility into bookings and deal progression. Own our sales technology strategy and approach (CRM, sales engagement and forecasting tools) to drive team productivity and data hygiene. Develop and execute Audicus's conference and industry event strategy to build pipeline and strengthen brand presence in target markets. Coordinate closely with Account Management – which reports separately – on the handoff from new-logo close to onboarding and ongoing account health. Hire, onboard and scale the B2B sales team as the business grows. Own and manage the new-business P&L for this division. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR8-12 years of tactical experience in strategic partnerships and/or enterprise sales, with a track record of personally closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Strong background selling into managed care or benefit verticals (payers, employer benefits, unions, MLTC, etc).Experience with hearing benefits strongly preferred Proven player-coach experience – has personally carried and exceeded a sales quota while also building and leading a biz dev and/or sales team. Early-stage startup experience, ability to work with constrained resources and get creative, is a huge plus. Fast-paced team players that are methodical, hands-on problem solvers.
Compensation:
$175-200K annually Base + Bonus (OTE ~$305-350K) - compensation dependent on experience and location
