An internationally recognized, award-winning law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its San Francisco office, supporting a team of attorneys in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and delivers exceptional administrative and legal support.
What You'll Do:
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence Manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing procedures Open new matters, conduct conflict checks, and prepare engagement documentation Create and maintain Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities (TOC/TOA)Support billing functions, including time entry and proforma review Organize and maintain electronic and physical files within the document management system Coordinate depositions, hearings, travel, and attorney schedules Liaise with court reporters, vendors, and internal departments Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to attorneys
What You Bring:
5+ years of legal secretarial experience (litigation preferred)Minimum 2 years supporting billing attorneys Strong experience with state and federal e-filing systems (required)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracyDNA Partners 25+ Years Strong.
