About the role

This client is seeking a Front Desk Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers while providing administrative support to help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. In this role, you will greet visitors, answer and route incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, maintain records, and support a variety of general administrative and office functions. This position is fully onsite, requiring attendance five days per week in Worcester, MA.
Required Skills & Experience: Prior experience in a front desk, reception, administrative support, or customer-facing position Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Skills & Experience: Experience handling high-volume, multi-line phone systems in a professional office setting Background working within government agencies, legal offices, nonprofit organizations, or other public-facing environments Familiarity with records management practices and document processing procedures Experience supporting and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, communities, and stakeholder groups
